Mike Myers will reunite with his Austin Powers co-star Verne Troyer in The Love Guru. This is the first film role for the two-foot-seven-inch Troyer since playing Mini-Me to Myers' Dr. Evil in the last two installments of the Austin Powers movies.

In Love Guru, Myers plays an American raised by Indian gurus, who moves to America and becomes a relationship expert. His character is hired by a hockey team to help a star player who has been in a slump since his estranged wife started dating a rival. Troyer plays the team's coach, and Canada.com reports that Jessica Alba has signed on to play the team's owner.

Shooting begins next month in Toronto.

Earlier this year, Troyer checked himself into a treatment facility to battle a long-time addiction to alcohol.
